Rake Up Meridian

Rake Up Meridian is a Republic Services event that the City of Meridian supports, where teams of volunteers rake the yards of Meridian seniors and those unable to rake due to physical constraints. If you have a team of volunteers willing to rake or would appreciate raking assistance, please register below beginning September 2, 2025.

Raking will take place in November at a date and time mutually agreed upon by the homeowner and the raking team assigned to their home.

Volunteers must provide their rakes and gloves. A supply of paper leaf bags will be provided to each volunteer raking team.

To have lawns raked, participants must:

• Be over age 65 or unable to rake due to physical constraints
• Live within the Meridian city limits
• Currently reside at the residence to be raked

No county addresses or large acreages can be raked.

Please be courteous and ensure the lawn is cleared of any pet waste before your volunteer rakers arrive.

The online registration period opens for both volunteers and residents on September 2, 2025.
