Become a Leader!

MYAC is steered by an Executive Council, a group of eight students who are elected every year by their peers to set the agenda for MYAC throughout the school year and who facilitate all meetings, events, and projects.

We currently have 2 vacant positions on our Executive Council:

  • Community Service Vice Chair
  • Government Affairs Vice Chair

If you're an existing MYAC member who's interested in joining the Executive Council for the rest of the 2024-2025 school year, you will need to fill out and submit a special application form by midnight on Thursday, October 24, make a speech in front of your fellow MYAC Members on the October 28 meeting, and vote! When you fill out the application, ignore the instruction about running for up to three positions. Simply list either "Government Affairs Vice Chair" or "Community Service Vice Chair" as your choice and ignore the question about what other positions you're interested in running for.

Elections will take place during the MYAC Meeting on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM in Meridian City Hall.

You can run for one of the open positions, either Government Affairs Vice Chair or Community Service Vice Chair.
